TATA Cars Are Finally Showing Better Sales Growth Compared to its Peers 🙌 ! It's a great ride - Honest Review !

I owned a full option TATA Zest Revotron XT. It was TATA's first locally made petrol engine. 


In four years, I drove around 75000 Kms comfortably. The car was very smooth and had three modes of driving namely ECO, CITY and SPORT. ECO was for economical driving while on the highways etc. Driving in this mode gives better mileage. CITY mode was for normal city driving. SPORT was used especially while we drive on mountaineous terrain for better pick up.

I had an AMC till 45000 KMs. Service comes in at every 15000 Kms. During the AMC, clutch plate was once replaced free of cost. There weren't any other expenses as well. I had changed tyres around 50000 kms. Battery was replaced during paid service of 60000 kms.

It had very good interiors and good boot space. It had alloy wheels as well. The best thing I liked about the car was Connect-Next Entertainment system powered by Harman. It was very comfortable while on long drive to make and attend calls, listen to music, pod casts etc.


However, the car was having very low resale value. I tried to sell my car as I was relocating. Most of the quotes were below three lacs only.

Then the Covid-19 lockdown happened. I also didn't think much about selling the car during the period. 

As lockdown was easing, one day I got a call from a prospective buyer.  It was interesting to note that the buyer was specifically looking for a TATA car. As per him TATA cars are robustly built compared to the peers. In addition, he was impressed by the Harman ConnectNext feature. Hence, he was planning to buy only TATA cars.

I think now the trend is changing. If we look at July 2020 auto sales figures also, TATA Motors’ car sales are up by 43%. In July 2020, they have a sales of 15000 units compared to July 2019 figure of 10485. Now they are at third place in terms of absolute sales figures behind Maruti and Hyundai. I hope soon they will be at top of the table. Their products are really good. Soon all the car buyers and lovers will start admiring it like few of us do. All the best to TATA Motors !

Is PGEMP (Executive MBA) at SPJIMR worth it ?

Is PGEMP at SPJIMR worth it ?  I would say 'Yes' if you are a working professional and want to continue working while completing MBA from one of India's Top Business School.
